Currently I am in my sophomore year of high school at Ruth Asawa School of the arts. I have been playing violin for roughly 5 to 6 years now and I have been doing viola for about year now. While it will be my first time teaching I hope to gain more experience for the future as a violinist/violist.

Im in 11th grade and I am passionate about bass and classical music. I love playing as well as listening to all the great works. I can teach classical music and introduction to double bass. I am a german bow player which allows me help students work on their technique with the german bow. I can work with french bow players as well but french bow technique would not be my specialty. I can also teach some basic music theory.

In recent years, my immense passion and dedication to music has brought me to winning competitions for both piano and cello, performing at Davies Symphony hall with the San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, and to furthering my music studies in a conservatory. Hi! I’m a senior and student director in the RASOTA vocal department, as well as a member of the Young Women’s choral project in the premiere level. I’ve been singing in choir for 9 years, as well as having done solo lessons for the past 5 years. I love singing both jazz and classical music, and hope to elevate other singers to do the best work they can!

I am a Junior in the Vocal department at SOTA, and I have been singing since I was a little kid. Music has always been a central part of my life and is an essential and valuable outlet for expression. I am planning to major in Vocal performance in college and pursue a career in both music and education. I have experience in both choral and solo performance, and I am able to teach Jazz, Folk, Pop, and Classical voice. Aside from teaching songs, I can teach beginning music theory and musicianship, including solfege, and beginning piano if it is helpful for a student.

I am a sophomore violist and have been playing for 4.5 years. I mainly play classical music.

12th grade, I play cello, will teach classical; including scales, arpeggios, exercies and etudes, repertoire from the suzuki books and other pieces for young cellists. My passion for cello is just that I really love the instrument and playing it, and I want to share this with any student who is interested in learning. I will do my best to make the experience positive for students to share the love of music and cello.

Hello! I’m Julian, I’m a sophomore and I play piano. I have played classical piano for almost 10 whole years now. I can teach very early beginner students to intermediate students. If you want to learn how to play piano or expand on your current skills, I’ll provide a path for you to do so.

I am a 9th grader at the Ruth Asawa School Of The Arts Vocal Department. I have been playing music for 9 years and singing for longer than I can remember. I can teach tone, dynamics, and articulation.

I’m a senior at RASOTA, and I’ve had many performances and recitals as a singer and developed different techniques over the years. I can teach building vocal endurance, and how to belt healthily, as well as working to widen the vocal range.

My name is Zolin am I’m in 11th grade. I am happy to teach all levels. I can also teach specifics like vibrato, bow, left hand, etc.

My name is tiffany leung and i have been playing french horn for 4.5 years. i really enjoy going to the symphony and listening to music. my favorite horn concerto is the Gliere horn concerto in Bb major. I can teach beginners which is typically from elementary to middle school.

My name is Evelyn Holmes. I am an 11th grader at Ruth Asawa School of the Arts with a passion for the violin. I have been playing the violin for almost 9 years and have extensive performing experience with several forms of music, including chamber, orchestral, and solo music. I am primarily classically trained with some experience in folk music. Chamber music is my favorite to play, but I think all types of music are wonderful!

I am a senior at Ruth Asawa SOTA hoping to major in music in college and to teach after higher education. I started the violin at a young age, and the wonderful mentors I’ve had have inspired me to spread the love for music with others.
I am looking to teaching beginner to intermediate level classical violinists. 🙂
